ACCOMMODATION
The apartments at Rognsund, are situated at Altneset on the edge of Kufjord, on the West side of the island of Seiland, in the Finmark area of Northern Norway.
There are five apartments each sleeping up to four persons. All apartments have Wi-Fi and satellite TV.
BOAT
There are five of the superb 19’/50hp Kvaerno boats, fitted with fish finder/plotter.
FISHING
Spectacular Fishing around Seiland and Stjernoya !!
Fishing for Massive Cod, Halibut and Coalfish is amazing here. Whether you’re in the fjord near the apartments (Store kufjorden) or out in Rognsund, or Stjernsund, you will have the time of your life!! As well as the species above, you have the Wolf Fish, Haddock, Redfish, Ling, and some beautiful, specimen sized Plaice to target. Big Halibut and Big Cod, are caught regularly in the sound between Seiland and Stjernoya, which is literally less than five minutes from the pier. Head up the sound and you come to Soroysund, that is the sound that runs between Seiland, Stjernoya, and Soroya. The tides that run through here bring huge shoals of bait fish with them, this is why so many big fish are caught here. The winter fishing is great for big Cod and Halibut, if the weather is bad ,you can fish in the shelter of Kufjord outside of the apartments, the cod shoal up at the back of the fjord and you can catch fish after fish in there. As the warmer weather comes in June & July, the big Coalies come with it. Fishing in mid water in the sounds is absolutely breathtaking, big Coalies & Cod hit the lures with savage attacks, chuck an Eddystone eel, sidewinder eel or a small pirk up the tide and let it sink, and wait for the fun to start !
The fishing from Rognsund apartments is very, very, easy, the location is exactly bang on the centre of the main fishing grounds, which ever direction you take from the pier you are either in the sounds, on the plateaus or into the bays, you can't get better positioning than that !!!!!!
TRAVEL
To reach Rognsund, you fly to Alta airport; you will be collected there and transferred by road, to the harbour at Storekorsnes, only a fifty-minute drive away. From Storekorsnes you will be transferred by boat to the apartments at Altneset, taking around thirty to forty minutes.

The supermarket is a fifteen minute boat ride away, in Kvalfjord just opposite the apartments.

Prices From; £509.00 per person, based on four persons, in one apartment with one boat including transfers.
End cleaning is payable direct to the host onsite.
